I major in biology at Nazarbayev University. Throughout my studies, I took various biology and chemistry core courses and was engaged in several research internships. Lab reports were one of the major things I struggled with. I realized that it was hard for me to clearly express what I have to say in writings.      So after taking two Rhetorics and Composition(RC) courses my writing considerably improved. After the suggestion of Prof. Brock, who taught my latter RC class and already my friend, I took his course on Writing for Digital Media. This course teaches us several things:

• Effectively communicate our ideas using various modes

• Analyze  existing multimodal pieces on their functionality and design

• Create our own  multimodal pieces  and explain design choices
